Toni Cormier

Toni joined SouthCoast in August 2015, bringing over 30 years of property accounting/management experience in the areas of development, residential apartments, commercial buildings, and retail shopping malls. After receiving her BBS degree in Accounting from Southern University, in Baton Rouge, LA, Toni began her career in real estate as a property accountant working for NV Commercial, a prominent real estate developer in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. Since that time, Toni has held several positions including Accounting Manager at Lennar Partners and Director of Property Accounting at a German firm (BVT) based in Atlanta. Prior to joining SouthCoast, Toni served as Accounting Manager for 9 years at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a global commercial real estate services firm based in Chicago. Toni has a vast knowledge of property accounting with her expertise spanning the implementation and preparation of budgets, preparation of month-end accrual and cash basis financials, ensuring all critical accounting functions are performed at the highest level, and preparation of audit work papers to standards required by the “Big 4” auditing firms.
